Gabe Kidd Reacts to Arena Mexico Hopes: “I’m Still Waiting to End Soberano Jr.”

During a recent fan Q&A on Instagram, a fan told Kidd they hoped to see him appear in Arena Mexico soon. Kidd’s response was blunt: “It’s been nearly two years, and I’m still waiting to end Soberano Jr.”

Kidd has become a staple of first The Dogs and now The Death Riders, and has been a large part of both NJPW and AEW over the past couple of years. He has competed on several events co-run by CMLL — but has yet to step foot inside Arena Mexico itself for an event.

Will Gabe Kidd Finally Get His Arena Mexico Moment?

The door is clearly open: Kidd addressed whether the Arena Mexico appearance could become reality in the near future during the same Q&A, keeping the feud with Soberano Jr. alive. Elsewhere in the Q&A, he also addressed the idea of facing off with a WWE superstar at this stage of his career.

With CMLL’s partnership with NJPW stronger than ever, the match fans have waited two years for may finally be within reach.
