The Remarried Empress Leads November 2026 K-Dramas
The most anticipated title of the month is undoubtedly “The Remarried Empress”, adapted from the hit web novel. Shin Min Ah plays Navier, the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire whose world collapses when her husband, Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji Hoon), cheats on her with runaway slave Rashta (Lee Se Young) and divorces her. Navier’s answer is gloriously bold: she remarries Heinrey (Lee Jong Suk), the prince of the Western Empire. With four of K-drama’s biggest names in one cast, this fantasy romance is already the November 2026 drama to beat.
More November 2026 K-Dramas To Watch
Comedy fans get “Francesca Next Door”, a spin-off of the 2005 sitcom “Hello, Francesca,” following vampire Pi Na Young (Han Su A) as she struggles to adapt to the human world after transferring from Romania, opposite class president Jang Woo Joo (Kim Hyun Jin). Red Velvet’s Joy stars in “One-of-a-Kind Romance” as Gong Yu Il, an ordinary job-seeker who unexpectedly becomes the manager of top star Tak Mu I (Kim Hyun Jin), who hides emotional scars from a stalking incident. It airs Mondays at 6 p.m. KST and streams on Viki.
For a chaebol romance, “What a Boss Wants” pairs Sung Hoon’s Kwon Do Hyuk with indie vocalist Lee Eun Chae (Oh Se Young) in a story about the one variable money can’t control. Coming-of-age fans get “Happy Anding”, about three comedians played by Kang Hoon, Cho Hyun Chul and Kim Jung Jin who have struggled for a decade before a mysterious woman changes their path.
History buffs are covered too: “Sword & Silence” tells how the small kingdom of Silla overcame Goguryeo, Baekje and China’s Tang dynasty to unify the Three Kingdoms, airing Saturdays and Sundays at 9:20 p.m. KST on KBS2. Whichever genre you pick, this month’s K-drama premieres prove November 2026 is one of the busiest release windows of the year.
