The Ramparts of Ice Epilogue Chapter in Fan Book
The manga centers on Koyuki Hikawa, an aloof high school student who builds a wall between herself and others, and Minato Amemiya, the classmate who keeps getting closer to her no matter how she pushes him away. Their slow, frustrating romance plays out alongside the popular girl Miki and the laid-back Yota.
Agasawa, also known for You and I Are Polar Opposites, originally serialized the manga as a webtoon on the LINE Manga app from January 2020 to April 2022. Shueisha published the 14th and final compiled volume in February 2025.
A Manga Readers Already Love
This is no cult pick. The series ranked #15 for male readers in the 2024 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! guidebook, was nominated for the 69th Shogakukan Manga Awards, placed second in the Vertical Scroll Comic section of the second Rakuten Kobo E-book Awards, and ranked #2 in AnimeJapan’s 2023 Most Wanted Anime Adaptation poll — a wish the anime has already fulfilled. Season 1 debuted on April 2, and season 2 premiered October 1 and is currently airing, with Netflix streaming both worldwide.
