Takahashi launched Parallel Leap Syndrome in Young King Ours back in August 2022, and Shonengahosha has since published five compiled book volumes, with the latest volume arriving on April 30. The series ran for just over four years.

What Is Parallel Leap Syndrome About?

AI localization company Orange Inc. releases the manga in English through its emaqi e-bookstore, which describes the story as follows: the protagonist’s childhood sweetheart is marrying a handsome stranger — and he can’t help but wonder if confessing his feelings that day, at that place, in that moment, would have changed everything. Could there be another life out there, beyond this one?

The series is billed as a rom-com set in parallel universes, following a hopeless romantic as he chases after his first love across different realities.
