The trailer confirms that Attack on Titan 3 is the “riveting culmination” of the game series, covering the story from the Survey Corps’ beginnings all the way to its dramatic conclusion. The game will depict the entire anime story from start to finish, and players will finally be able to ready their blades against the Nine Titans — a first for the franchise.
Attack on Titan 3 Gameplay Trailer Adds Brand-New Story Content
Beyond retelling the anime, the game promises brand-new story content that digs deeper into the characters and lore of the Attack on Titan universe. MAPPA will produce an opening sequence for the game, though it will arrive as a later update rather than at launch.
The game will support Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German and Spanish, with Japanese audio.
Attack on Titan 3 Release Date, Platforms and Editions
Attack on Titan 3 launches on December 10 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A Digital Deluxe Edition will include a digital artbook, three costumes, seven creator parts and more in-game items, while a SteelBook edition will feature ICONART.
The new entry arrives more than seven years after Attack on Titan 2 shipped in March 2018, with the Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle expansion following in July 2019. With the anime’s story fully complete, Attack on Titan 3 finally lets fans play through every major battle — including, at last, the Nine Titans.
