Shopping for a budget gaming PC under $1,000? Walmart is offering the ABS Cyclone Aqua gaming PC with a GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card for just $849 shipped — and it’s both more powerful and cheaper than Valve’s $1,049 Steam Machine.

What’s Inside The Machine
The ABS Cyclone packs an Intel Core 5 Processor 120 (6 cores, 12 threads, up to 4.5GHz boost), 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The RTX 5060 outperforms the older RTX 4060 by roughly 20-30% before you even factor in DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation.
For 1080p gaming, this is a genuinely strong setup — expect a consistent 60fps or better in just about any current game. One caveat: it uses DDR4 memory rather than DDR5, which makes no real difference in games but means a motherboard and CPU swap if you ever want to move to DDR5 down the line.
Better Than The Steam Machine
The comparison with the Steam Machine is where this deal gets spicy. Valve’s box uses a low-wattage CPU and a custom GPU roughly equivalent to an RX 7600 or RTX 4060 — so the RTX 5060 rig holds at least a 20-30% performance advantage. And it costs $200 less. For anyone even a little PC-savvy, the math is not close.
The RTX 5060 is ideal for 1080p, though anyone targeting 1440p or 4K should look at an RTX 5060 Ti (16GB) or better instead.
