By Black Friday might still be weeks away, but one of PC gaming’s most legendary audio setups is already sitting at a deep discount. The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Lumina computer speakers are down to $249.99 on Amazon — a 34% discount off their $379.99 launch price, with free shipping included.

If you gamed on PC at any point in the last two decades, you know the name. The original Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 was the undisputed king of computer speakers for the better part of twenty years. But while the years brought incremental updates, a complete redesign didn’t arrive until late 2025 — and the Lumina is what finally replaced the legend.
A Fresh Look, Same 2.1 Soul
The Lumina looks nothing like its predecessor. Klipsch wrapped the new system in a two-tone black and silver facade with wood-grain wrap throughout, giving it a sophisticated feel that would sit just as comfortably in a work-from-home setup as on a battlestation. There’s RGB lighting too, but it’s subtle — projected toward the wall behind your desk rather than blasting color in your face.
The classic 2.1 channel layout remains: the satellites are a touch bigger than before, each packing a 3-inch mid-range driver and a 1-inch mylar tweeter mated to Klipsch’s Microtractrix horn. The subwoofer has gone slim, with a ported design built around a 6.5-inch side-firing woofer.
Modern Connections and App Control
This is where the 2025 redesign really earns its price tag. The Lumina adds a USB Type-C connection to your PC, wireless Bluetooth 5.3 for phones and tablets, and support for the Klipsch Control desktop app, which lets you tweak EQ settings and the lighting straight from your PC.
At $249.99, the Lumina undercuts its original launch price by a full $130 — making this one of the first genuinely deep discounts on the redesigned system. For gamers still running aging desktop speakers (or no subwoofer at all), it’s hard to argue with the pedigree: the ProMedia name carried PC audio for a generation, and this redesign finally drags it into the modern era.
Whether this deal holds through Black Friday remains to be seen — but at 34% off ahead of the holiday rush, it’s already one of the best PC audio deals of October.
