“El Toro Blanco” isn’t going anywhere — he just needs his paperwork sorted. On Tuesday, RUSH confirmed that his U.S. visa has expired, while making it clear he’s happy staying put in AEW.

The speculation started Monday, when RUSH tweeted a cryptic “See you 2027” message that sent fans into a frenzy about his future. Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez then reported that the Mexican star’s visa had expired. On Tuesday, RUSH addressed it head-on: “Everyone loves gossip! But they actually got two things right. I’m happy at my home, #AEW, and my visa has expired.”
A Quiet Few Months Explained
RUSH last wrestled on the July 1 episode of AEW Collision, where he defeated Jordan Cruz. He has wrestled 18 matches this year between AEW and ROH. His expired visa explains why the hard-hitting luchador has been absent from U.S. television for months — once the visa is renewed, expect “El Toro Blanco” back in the ring.
La Facción Ingobernable Questions
There were also reports this week that Dralistico, a fellow member of La Facción Ingobernable, is set to have his AEW contract expire in December — adding more intrigue around the group’s future. For now, though, RUSH’s message is simple: he’s an AEW man, and “see you 2027” is just a matter of timing, not an exit.
