Almost a month after the tragic passing of PAC, one of his closest friends in wrestling has shared a deeply moving memory of their final day together. Speaking to Jimmy V3, Bandido opened up about the last conversation he ever had with the late AEW star — a moment sealed with an exchange of football shirts.

A Friendship Forged in Japan
Bandido and PAC’s bond stretched back years, to their days in Dragongate in Japan. “PAC, he always was a very good person with me,” Bandido recalled. “I met him in Japan. We spent time together in Dragongate and he was a good person with me.”
The day before PAC passed away — less than 24 hours after competing at AEW All Out — the two spent time together. That final hangout ended with a gesture only true football fans would understand: they traded shirts of their beloved clubs.
The Shirt Swap He’ll Keep Forever
“He gave me a Newcastle shirt. I gave him my home team shirt, which is Santos Laguna’s shirt, and he said, ‘thank you,'” Bandido said. “The last thing that I can remember from him is, ‘I love you, brother,’ and I will have those words in my heart forever, forever.”
PAC was a staple of the AEW roster and a key member of the Death Riders faction before his untimely death, which sent shockwaves through the wrestling world. For Bandido, the Newcastle shirt is now a keepsake he intends to hold onto for as long as he can. “I want to have him with me for as much time as is possible, you know?”
