A Love Eight Years in the Making

Sharing the news on social media, Kim Na Ra wrote, “There are ten days left until our wedding, which we’ve decided on after eight years of dating.” The couple recently took their first wedding photos — on a day when it was pouring rain. “Somehow, it felt more romantic,” she added.

In the photos, Kim Na Ra glows in a pure white off-shoulder wedding dress, smiling happily beside her partner. The announcement drew warm smiles from netizens across Korea and beyond.

The Matchbox Wedding Invitation

This isn’t the first time Kim Na Ra’s wedding plans have made headlines. She previously went viral for revealing a one-of-a-kind wedding invitation designed to look like a matchbox. “I like matches, and I wanted to make something practical,” she explained at the time — a perfectly fitting touch for the style creator.

Kim Na Ra shot to fame by winning first place on Kill It: Style Creator War, which aired from May to July. During her victory speech, she thanked her girlfriend, calling her “my coolest partner and manager,” and vowed to finally hold the wedding they had postponed because of money. Now, that promise is coming true.

Congratulations to the happy couple — eight years of love, and a rainy wedding shoot to seal it.
