Happy Anding Still Show: Struggling 10 Years Into Their Careers

tvN’s upcoming drama “Happy Anding” has unveiled new stills capturing its trio of comedians — Kang Hoon, Cho Hyun Chul, and Kim Jung Jin — in both their school days and their present-day struggles. The coming-of-age drama follows three comedians who have spent 10 years chasing a dream that refuses to come true.

Happy Anding K-Drama: Kang Hoon, Cho Hyun Chul, Kim Jung Jin Roles

In the drama, Kang Hoon plays Kang Tae Gu, Cho Hyun Chul plays Kim Nam Il, and Kim Jung Jin plays Han Jun Seo. The newly released stills contrast their carefree school days — Kang Tae Gu and Kim Nam Il, both naturally gifted at comedy, locked in a battle of wits, while model student Han Jun Seo served as the class representative — with their difficult adult lives.

Years later, the once-promising newcomers are still unknowns. Kang Tae Gu wears a worried expression while talking on the phone, Kim Nam Il works as a parking attendant, and Han Jun Seo makes a living at a skewer restaurant run by his former high school teacher (played by Lee Seo Hwan). Yet despite financial and personal struggles, none of the three gives up on their dream of becoming comedians.

Happy Anding Plot: A Mysterious Woman Changes Everything

The story takes a turn when the three comedians encounter a mysterious woman who sets them on a search for new paths forward — a premise that promises both comedy and heart. “Happy Anding” leans into the very real grind of aspiring entertainers, where a decade of rejection can be the punchline nobody asked for.
