The Devil's Plan: Dead Again Teaser Pits Jang Dong Min Against Jung Hyun Gyu Ahead of November 10 Premiere

The battle for the ultimate brain is about to get even more ruthless, as The Devil’s Plan: Dead Again has dropped a new teaser ahead of its November 10 premiere, and it puts legendary players on a collision course from the very first game.

Created by PD Jung Jong Yeon, the mastermind behind The Genius and The Great Escape, The Devil’s Plan locks contestants from wildly different backgrounds together for seven days of high-stakes competition. The prize is simple to state and brutally hard to win: the title of the ultimate brain.

Season 3, subtitled Dead Again, mixes returning survival-game veterans with rising challengers, and it widens the playing field while adding twists designed to keep even the sharpest players guessing.

The Devil’s Plan: Dead Again Changes the Rules on Elimination

The biggest twist in the new teaser is a rule change that rewrites how survival works this season. Unlike previous seasons, contestants will no longer be eliminated simply because they lose all their Pieces. Instead, their fate will be decided solely by the games themselves.

That change matters because it removes the easiest way to knock a dangerous rival out early. A player who hits rock bottom in Pieces can still fight their way back through pure gameplay, which means no lead is safe and no comeback is impossible.

Jang Dong Min and the JangOh Alliance Take Centre Stage

At the heart of the teaser is Jang Dong Min, the player known to fans as the “God” of survival games after winning five consecutive competitions. Some contestants openly hope to ally with him, while others are already plotting to bring him down, with one asking directly whether the plan is to take Dong Min out.

His alliance with Oh Hyun Min, the famed “JangOh” pairing, is also firmly in the crosshairs. Jung Won Young argues that the two should be eliminated first, before they can take control of the game. The teaser even shows Oh Hyun Min in tears, a sign of just how intense the early battles become.

Even Jang Dong Min himself looks rattled at one point, admitting he has never been in such a difficult position. In another striking moment, he says he will make a promise and then not keep it, suggesting that long-standing trust may not survive this season’s ruthless fight.

A Showdown With Jung Hyun Gyu Looms

The teaser also teases a potential showdown between Jang Dong Min and Jung Hyun Gyu, the winner of Season 2. That clash alone is enough to excite longtime fans, since it pits the sport’s most decorated veteran against its most recent champion.

Elsewhere, Season 1 winner Ha Seok Jin notes that the contestants bring a different kind of energy this time, while Hong Jin Ho drops his usual relaxed smile to declare that the situation is the worst he has faced. Yurisa, meanwhile, voices frustration at a game that seems designed to turn everything upside down.

Alliances, rivalries and betrayals remain the show’s lifeblood. Xitsuh makes a pitch for loyal allies to stick together until the end, while Yi Do asks his fellow players whether they will betray him after he has trusted them completely. With shifting loyalties and psychological warfare at every turn, Dead Again looks set to be the most unpredictable season yet.
