The Miami Grand Prix marks the first race of the 2026 Formula 1 season in the United States.

As we’ve mentioned, Miami became a part of the Formula 1 schedule in 2022, joining the United States Grand Prix held in Austin, Texas. The following year, the Las Vegas Grand Prix joined the party as it held its first race on the Las Vegas Strip.

American fans will have to wait until later in the year for the other two U.S. grand prix weekends. The United States Grand Prix is scheduled for Oct. 23-25, while the Las Vegas Grand Prix will run from Nov. 19-21.

F1’s staggering growth in the United States has been a prominent trend of the sport’s past decade, and the Miami Grand Prix is a critical part of that effort to build the American audience while providing an exhilarating spectacle for all racing fans.
