Spencer Pratt Will Not Attend Fox 11’s Mayoral Debate
Fox 11 will host the next Los Angeles mayoral debate this coming Wednesday, with one candidate notably absent: Spencer Pratt.
The network announced the mayoral forum on Monday, hosting four of the leading candidates with Mayor Karen Bass, Rev. Rae Huang, entrepreneur Adam Miller and Councilmember Nithya Raman.
However, Fox noted that the “Hills” star was also invited to attend, but declined, citing a prior scheduling conflict. Representatives for Pratt did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
His absence follows a strong showing for the first-time politician at his first debate Wednesday night. NBC4 Los Angeles, the station that aired the debate, posted an online poll asking viewers to cast their vote on who won — Pratt was overwhelmingly declared the winner by 89% at the time of this publishing; Mayor Bass came in a distant second at 7%, with Raman trailing behind at 4%.

Politico’s California bureau chief Melanie Mason told CNN’s Elex Michaelson on Wednesday that Pratt “passed the test” on the debate stage.
“The expectations are different for Spencer Pratt than they are for the incumbent mayor of Los Angeles or a relatively longtime city councilmember,” she explained. “He’s a novice to politics … but I think people wanted to see what this bombastic social media personality would do onstage.”
Michaelson added that the reality star channeled the anger a lot of Angelenos feel about the state of the city, and that being an “effective communicator on social media and on TV pays off.”
Fox will host the upcoming debate in partnership with the Pat Brown Institute for Public Affairs and the League of Women Voters of Greater Los Angeles. The event will air live on Fox 11 on Wednesday, May 13, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. PT. Fox 11 anchors Marla Tellez and Bob DeCastro will moderate the forum.

Avengers: Doomsday Full Cast List: Russos Tease Secret Characters
Think the full cast is already known for Avengers: Doomsday?
Think again.
Despite containing 31 announced Marvel characters (full list below), Doomsday directors Joe and Anthony Russo say even more characters are appearing in the team-up superhero film — including, quite possibly, the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).
Speaking to Empire Online, Russo said, “[Bruce Banner] is certainly involved in the story that revolves around Doom. We will not confirm nor deny his appearance in Doomsday.” (So that sounds like a yes).
Anthony Russo then added, “The farthest we can go is to say, there are characters and actors who have not been announced, who are a part of Doomsday.”
Anthony recently told The AP: “The MCU is this massive experiment in how vast, how much scope can an ensemble really have?” The duo also confirmed they started shooting Doomsday without a completed script: “We always view the script as a living organism,” Joe said. “We’re improvisation-based, rehearsal-based directors. We like to see what the actors bring to the characters, and sometimes you don’t get the actors until a few days or a few weeks before you shoot them. And a lot of the time, that’s when the magic happens.”
The duo are currently promoting the re-release of Avengers: Endgame, which has racked up another $86 million over the weekend. The film grossed $2.8 billion back in 2019 and now includes four new end-credits scenes to help set up Doomsday. Joe Russo has previously called Endgame “required viewing for following the story in Doomsday.”
Here’s the full list of confirmed characters appearing in Doomsday:
MCU veterans: Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Sam Wilson/Captain America (Anthony Mackie), Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Ant-Man/Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Shuri/Black Panther (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Namor (Tenoch Huerta Mejía), Falcon/Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez).
The Fantastic Four: Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).
Thunderbolts/New Avengers: Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian/Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour), U.S. Agent/John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Ghost/Ava Starr (Hannah John-Kamen), Sentry/Bob Reynolds (Lewis Pullman).
X-Men/Fox-Era Characters: Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), Magneto/Erik Lehnsherr (Ian McKellen), Cyclops/Scott Summers (James Marsden), Beast/Hank McCoy (Kelsey Grammer), Nightcrawler/Kurt Wagner (Alan Cumming), Mystique/Raven (Rebecca Romijn), Gambit/Remy LeBeau (Channing Tatum).
Plus: Doctor Doom/Victor von Doom (Robert Downey Jr.), Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and Namora (Mabel Cadena).
Doomsday opens in theaters Dec. 18.

Seth Meyers Suggests Post-Presidency Job for Trump
What exactly Donald Trump will do once he leaves office for good is anyone’s guess, but on Monday night, Seth Meyers had a suggestion for the man. It’s a job where he can just, be himself — literally.
During his “A Closer Look” segment, the NBC host zeroed in on how Trump is quickly losing the support of his own party, as more and more Republicans split with the president before the midterms. Not all of them are jumping ship though, as one of his cabinet members just this week hailed Trump as “the energy president.”
“Sorry, what? You want us to believe this is the energy president?” Meyers questioned, playing one of the many clips where the president appears to be falling asleep in public.
“I think that’s the NyQuil president,” Meyers joked. “He looks like a wax statue. When he leaves office, he should just get a job at Madame Tussauds as himself.”
For those unfamiliar, Madame Tussauds is literally a chain of wax figure museums.
Elsewhere in his “A Closer Look” segment, Meyers dragged Trump for telling press that he rejected a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz immediately, which would help to lower gas prices, which are at record highs (This rejection is part of why Republicans are breaking with him).
“Wait, isn’t that what we want? And if they’re willing to do what we want, shouldn’t we let that happen?” Meyers questioned of the deal. “Like, why won’t you take the win?”
“For example, the hardest part of my life is getting my kids to bed. And if one of them said, ‘I’m pretty tired. I think I’m going to call it a night,’ I’d be over the moon. I wouldn’t say, ‘No, you’re not. You’re going to sit down with me and drink this Red Bull, young man.’”

Kyle Prue Podcast ‘Get Worse’ Sets Premiere Date (EXCLUSIVE)
EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Kyle Prue has partnered with iHeartMedia and Will Ferrell‘s Big Money Players on Get Worse with Kyle Prue, a new weekly podcast launching with two episodes on October 6.
Get Worse is an “advice” show where Prue responds to write-in questions while interviewing fellow comics, philosophers, criminals, experts, and more. Is the advice any good? Never intentionally.
In the first episode, Prue will sit down with comedians Hope Carew and Andrew Stier to explore topics ranging from spreading the gay agenda through football to Thanksgiving nudism and how best to blackmail coworkers. Episode 2 will feature actor, writer and comedian Sophia Sherman and special guest Count Dracula discussing 400 years of dating and situationships. Watch a trailer above.
Prue told Deadline, “I am so excited to be the first person to ever start a podcast. I can think of no better home for ‘Get Worse’ than Big Money Players and no better proverbial stepfather to my show than Will Ferrell. I’d like to thank my team, producers and psychiatrist.”
Prue built a following online with his viral series How to Piss Off Men, which amassed hundreds of millions of views across social platforms, culminating in a handbook that debuted as an instant New York Times Bestseller. He’s also the author of the Feud Trilogy – a series of young adult fantasy novels – and the creator and star of the darkly comedic web series Rabbit. As he pursues his offbeat adventures on Get Worse, Prue will occasionally be joined on camera by his co-producers Max Michalsky and Aaron Klein. Additional guests will include comedians, actors and content creators including Kel Cripe, Grant Gibbs, Vinny Thomas and more.
iHeartPodcasts President Will Pearson told us, “We are excited to have Kyle join us on our Big Money Players Network. Whether through his viral content, bestselling writing or now podcasting, Kyle has consistently found creative ways to connect with audiences. ‘Get Worse’ showcases the comedy that has made him a standout voice online, and we can’t wait for listeners to experience that same energy, spontaneity and laughter on his weekly podcast.”
Prue is represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, CAA, and Lichter, Grossman, Nichols.
