By Roman Reigns has never been shy about his spot at the top of the mountain — and his latest comments are pure Tribal Chief. Speaking with Sam Roberts, Reigns contrasted the camaraderie on the set of the upcoming Street Fighter film in Australia with the egos backstage in the WWE locker room.

“We’re Not the Same”
Reigns said he didn’t run around the Street Fighter set acting like he was Noah Centineo — but in wrestling, it’s a different story. “There’s plenty of dudes in the locker room that are running around thinking they’re Roman Reigns, thinking they’re of my level. It’s crazy. It’s just ridiculous,” he said. “Look in the mirror and look at all your stuff, everything that comes with your life. Look at your bank account, all the stuff. We’re not the same.”
On the film set, by contrast, everyone understood their role: “I didn’t run around thinking I’m Noah or Andrew [Koji]. I’m here to work with them, compliment them, make the very best combination or collaboration to create the best film.”
“I Own That Sh*t”
Despite coming from a football background, Reigns says wrestling’s individual nature suits him. “I come from football, so I’m always going to look at a teamwork aspect, but wrestling is different. That’s my craft, I own that shit. That is mine,” he declared.
Asked when he adopted that mindset, Reigns traced it to the dark days before his transformation: “Honestly, before COVID hit and I left, I had dog food all on me… I didn’t like what I was doing. I didn’t like the way I was portrayed. It was just time to take complete ownership — and the proof is in the pudding.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Reigns discussed his famously selective schedule and even the role of analytics in wrestling. But this is the Roman Reigns fans know: the 1%, the fraternity of one, and everyone else can check their bank accounts.
