Bandai Card Games has officially locked in the release plan for the NARUTO CARD GAME, which will launch simultaneously worldwide in June 2027 after its debut at Gen Con 2026. The announcement came during New York Comic Con, where Bandai also dropped an animated teaser featuring original artwork by Studio Pierrot — the animation studio behind Naruto itself.

At launch, players will get three Starter Decks led by Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara. Each pre-constructed deck is built around a different Leader with its own lineup of ninjas and play style, giving new players everything they need to start battling right out of the box.
Booster Pack and Demo Campaign Details
The first Booster Pack, titled “Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!”, will also arrive in June. It pulls characters from both NARUTO and NARUTO SHIPPUDEN, plus new ninjas and techniques designed to expand the Starter Decks and support custom deck building. Bandai also showed off new card illustrations during the NYCC presentation, expanding on the gameplay details and card designs first shared in July.
Players won’t have to wait until launch to get hands-on. Premier Demo Events begin at participating trading card game stores in February 2027, initially rolling out at select large-scale stores participating in Bandai TCG+ before expanding to more locations.
Exclusive Products and a Million Demo Decks
Two event-exclusive products were announced: the advance-release Official Playmat – NARUTO VS. SASUKE and the Premium Card Collection Vol.00 – CHAKRA Set. Both will be available through Premier Demo Events and select Bandai Card Games Fest 26-27 events, including stops in Orlando and London.
Bandai is going big on outreach too — a worldwide campaign in Spring 2027 will distribute a total of 1 million Demo Decks, giving players everywhere a chance to learn the game before its full release. The next big update for the card game is scheduled for Jump Festa 2027 in December.
