“It Hurt A Lot & Was Very Scary” — Lola Vice on Terrifying Money in the Bank Ladder Spot

Lola Vice has opened up about the scary ladder spot that sent her and Jacy Jayne crashing out of the ring at the 2026 WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. Speaking on WWE Ahora, Vice admitted the moment “hurt a lot and was very scary” — but she’s thankful it wasn’t worse.

How the Scary Spot Happened

The women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match featured Vice and WWE Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne trading blows while standing on the same side of a ladder. Vice locked Jayne in a chokehold, and as Jayne fell back, both women tumbled onto a ladder propped between the middle rope and the ladder they were standing on.

“I had Jacy in a choke and when I put her to sleep, she fell back and I fell with her,” Vice explained. “I thought that was the end of it, but suddenly the ladder went backwards, and literally, it got us out of the ring.” The shifting ladder launched both competitors out of the ring and onto the floor.

“It Could Have Been Very Ugly”

Vice didn’t sugarcoat how dangerous the moment was — or how much it cost her. “Because of that, I didn’t win Money in the Bank,” she said. “It hurt a lot and was very scary, but looking back, thank God it came out like this because it could have been very ugly. I think an injury in a Ladder match would have been rough. They are not for everyone, but thank God I’m strong and I was able to do it.”

Jayne also appeared the day after the match to comment on the bump, with both competitors thankfully walking away from one of the night’s most heart-stopping moments intact.
