SHINee’s Onew and Block B’s Zico have claimed their first music show trophy for their collab single “Tic Tac Toe” — and it was a battle of heavyweights to get there.

A Three-Way Race
On the October 17 episode of MBC’s Music Core, the first-place nominees were stacked: i-dle’s Soyeon with “I’m gonna TOESA,” IU with “Unknown Planet,” and Onew and Zico’s “Tic Tac Toe.” In the end, the duo took home the win with 7,054 points, beating out two of K-pop’s biggest names.
Star-Studded Lineup
The episode was packed beyond the winner’s announcement. Performers included NCT WISH, MEOVV, Hearts2Hearts, BOYNEXTDOOR (performing both the Korean version of “Count To Love” and “ANIMAL”), ALLDAY PROJECT, ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin, Xdinary Heroes, KickFlip, INFINITE’s Nam Woo Hyun, CRAVITY, Kim Jae Hwan, AB6IX’s Park Woo Jin, and more.
For Onew and Zico, this first win is a statement: two veteran artists from different generations teaming up and outscoring IU and Soyeon on a Saturday music show. If “Tic Tac Toe” keeps this momentum, this trophy likely will not be the last.
