Zoey Serrano is not shying away from intergender wrestling in TNA. The former WWE star, who signed with the promotion in August 2026, explained in her latest “Zoey’s 10001 Internet Questions” Q&A on YouTube why she would happily throw hands with the men — and says some of the best matches of her entire career came against male opponents.

“I Could Just Go Harder With the Guys”
Serrano, who previously wrestled as Zoey Stark, revealed that intergender wrestling was a huge part of her career before WWE. She said she actually felt like she could “take the gloves off a little more” against men, because wrestling women sometimes made her hold back out of fear of hurting someone. Against men, she had no such hesitation: “I could just go full throttle and not worry about it. But vice versa, they knew they could bring it back to me.”
It was never just a gimmick to her. Looking back, Serrano says some of her favorite matches ever came against male opponents — including her FSW sendoff match against Matt Vandagriff before she moved to Orlando to continue her training. “Hands down, one of my favorite matches,” she said, giving him a shout-out years later.
TNA’s Intergender History Opens the Door
Serrano knows TNA has a long history of intergender competition, which is exactly why she did not hesitate when asked if she would do it again. “I would do intergender wrestling today. I mean, I’m in TNA,” she said, adding that she could “put on some bangers with the men over at TNA” and that it would be “a lot of fun.”
Her TNA run is already picking up steam. Since debuting on the August 27, 2026 episode of iMPACT, she has faced Indi Hartwell and Harley Hudson in singles action. Now she is openly volunteering for intergender matches — and judging by how she talks about her old bouts, she would not be showing up to take it easy on anybody.
