The family of controversial YouTuber Park We is back under the spotlight — this time over his father’s unusual collection of “daughters.” After director Park Chan Hong was recently described as the “adoptive father” of actress Yoon So Hee, netizens have resurfaced a 2022 video showing yet another actress, Choi Kang Hee, revealing that the director told her to call him “dad” too.

The resurfaced clip comes from Choi Kang Hee’s appearance on Park We’s own YouTube channel back in 2022. In the video, the actress expressed gratitude to Director Park, who she said guided her into acting, and shared a personal story about his support after her own father passed away.
“When my father passed away, the director suddenly showed up at our house,” Choi recalled. After comforting her — “It’s okay, he’s gone to a better place” — she said he added: “From now on, I’m your dad. Call me dad.“
Choi went on to say she later learned that actress Park Jin Hee also calls Director Park “Dad,” leading her to think of him as a father figure to many — “sort of like a director or principal.”
