Chris Sabin has made his dream scenario in AEW crystal clear: win the AEW Tag Team Titles with the Motor City Machine Guns — and then feud with The New Level for half a year.

In a new interview with MuscleManMalcolm, the veteran tag star opened up about which team he and his partner Alex Shelley most want to work with in All Elite Wrestling. Sabin’s answer was The New Level, the team featuring Julius Creed, whom the Guns have known since their TNA days.
“That Would Be Great”
Sabin didn’t hold back about his admiration for the young team, saying they were among the opponents the Machine Guns most wanted to face — even back during their WWE run. He also pointed to the history between the two sides, noting they’ve known Creed from the TNA era.
The quote that says it all: Sabin would love to capture the AEW tag gold and then spend six months feuding with The New Level.
A Moment at AEW All In
Fans may recall that at AEW All In, several of the company’s top tag teams — including both the Motor City Machine Guns and The New Level — shared the ring after the AEW Tag Title match, in a segment that hinted at future battles for the division’s top prize.
The Machine Guns have made it no secret that they want to be among the teams defining AEW’s stacked tag scene. If Sabin gets his wish, a six-month title rivalry with The New Level could be one of the division’s standout stories.
