Leeds 1-1 Man Utd Player Ratings: Everything a Struggle for Bruno Fernandes as Winless Run Hits Six

Manchester United have now gone six games without a win for the first time since 2019 after being held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds United at Elland Road — and once again, it was a difficult afternoon for Bruno Fernandes.

United struck first through Bryan Mbeumo, who converted an excellent cross from Youri Tielemans — though the goal owed something to James Justin being caught on his heels. But Leeds hit back through Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who controlled Tarik Muharemovic’s knockdown header and applied the finish to level the scores.

Calvert-Lewin’s Moment

The striker grew into the game after a subdued start, missing an earlier header before taking his equaliser superbly. It was the standout moment of a strong second-half showing from the hosts, who pushed United back after levelling. Senne Lammens produced a good save to deny Nico Elvedi to keep the visitors in it.

Everything a Struggle for Fernandes

It was another tough outing for the United captain. Fernandes overhit a free-kick in a dangerous position so badly it went out for a throw, and was later booked for a late tackle on Muharemovic. In a season where little has gone right for him personally, this felt like more of the same.

There were brighter spots: Andrey Santos was industrious in midfield alongside Carlos Baleba, and Harry Maguire delivered another largely solid display. But a draw at Elland Road means the wait for a win drags on — six games and counting.
