Mystery Wrestling celebrated a milestone with its Mystery Wrestling 30 event on October 11, airing live on Twitch from Centre Aydelu in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. The stacked card delivered everything from multi-person chaos to a World Championship upset.
New Mystery Wrestling World Champion Crowned
In the night’s biggest moment, Cool Ref defeated Johnny Mystery (c) to capture the Mystery Wrestling World Championship – with special guest referee Sasquatch calling the action. The title change headlined a night that will be talked about on the Quebec indie scene for weeks.
The undercard was just as wild. In a “Replica IWGP World Heavyweight Championship” match, A Fan (c) retained against Cecil Nyx, while the women’s six-woman tag saw Dreya Mitchell, Kristara, and Layla Wilde defeat Katrina Creed, KC Diamond, and Kingsley.
Tag Team and Multi-Man Action
The trios division also shone: Le Tabarnak De Trio (Benjamin Tull, Mathieu St-Jacques & Thomas Dubois) beat The Debt Collectors (Bray Dello Russo, Shane Pinto & Tyler Nox), and Locked And Loaded (Jessie V & Mark Wheeler) took down Street Meat Express (HADDY & Top Dog).
Opening the show, Gabriel Fuerza overcame Alexia Nicole, Jay Blast, and Pawn #87 in a multi-person match. Mystery Wrestling continues to be one of Canada’s most entertaining indie promotions, and Mystery Wrestling 30 was no exception.
