The AEW World Tag Team Championships were on the line at WrestleDream 2026, as The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) defended their gold against the Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight. When the dust settled, the champs were still the champs.

Fourth Reign Rolls On
The Bucks are currently on their fourth reign as AEW World Tag Team Champions, having captured the titles in a Ladder match at All Out. The WrestleDream bout marked only the second defense of this current run, and the challengers were determined to cut it short.
Fletcher and Knight came in with the full backing of Don Callis, and the veteran manager made his presence felt — at one point choking Nick Jackson with a cord on the outside. The Don Callis Family duo built serious momentum in the middle of the match, with Fletcher firing off a string of impressive moves that had the crowd believing a title change was coming.
The B.T.E. Trigger Seals It
Things turned chaotic late. Knight tagged himself in at a crucial moment, but the Bucks quickly capitalized and took him out. Then came the bait: Knight got lured in by Matt and Nick, who planted him with the B.T.E. Trigger to end it. The Young Bucks walked out of Orlando still champions, surviving the Callis Family’s interference-laden game plan.
