PC gamers hunting for a deal just got a strong one. Walmart has cut the price of a CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme prebuilt packing an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus CPU and a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB GPU down to $1,249 with free shipping — pitched as the best affordable 1080p-capable gaming PC deal right now.

What $1,249 Gets You
The rig is built on Intel’s newest Arrow Lake Refresh desktop lineup: a 24-core Core Ultra 7 270K boosting up to 5.5GHz, cooled by a 360mm liquid AIO. That’s paired with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD — a genuinely modern spec sheet for the price.
The RTX 5060 Ti 8GB is the best 1080p GPU at this price point, outpacing the RTX 4060 Ti by around 20%, with the gap widening in titles that support DLSS 4.5. One caveat: the 8GB of VRAM means demanding games like Control: Resonant or The Blood of Dawnwalker may push it at 1440p, so buyers eyeing higher resolutions might step up to an RTX 5070 rig on sale for $1,449.
Steam Machine Comparison
IGN’s comparison is telling: this prebuilt is expected to hold a 30-40% performance advantage over the $1,049 Steam Machine, which runs a low-wattage CPU and a custom GPU roughly equivalent to a Radeon RX 7600 or RTX 4060. The CyberPowerPC also wins on upgradeability, using non-proprietary off-the-shelf parts in a classic midtower design.
If you’re after a plug-and-play 1080p machine without the build hassle, this is one of the strongest value plays of the season.
