PC gamers hunting for a high-end rig just caught a break — Best Buy is currently selling an Acer Predator RTX 5080 gaming PC for $2,699.99 after a $500 instant discount, the lowest price on a GeForce RTX 5080 prebuilt from any major retailer right now.

The deal runs Friday and Saturday only, so anyone eyeing a 4K-ready machine will need to move fast. Under the hood, this Predator is stacked: an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF (20 cores, up to 5.5GHz), a GeForce RTX 5080 16GB, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. It’s cooled by a 240mm liquid AIO and powered by an 850W PSU — a well-balanced build, not a parts-bin special.
RTX 5080: Still Near The Top
The RTX 5080 remains one of the fastest graphics cards money can buy, bested only by the $2,000 RTX 5090 and the discontinued RTX 4090. It chews through the latest demanding games in 4K at high settings with ray tracing enabled, and the DLSS 4.5 update has pushed multi-frame generation and upscaling even further — titles like Doom: The Dark Ages, Battlefield 6, Death Stranding 2, and Crimson Desert all support it, delivering seriously high framerates even at 4K.
Is It Worth It?
For buyers who don’t want the hassle of building, getting a complete 5080 system under $2,700 with quality cooling and a beefy power supply is genuinely hard to beat at the moment. Just remember the window is short — once the weekend deal ends, prices are expected to bounce back up.
