Even fellow celebrities need a mute button for Lee Kwang Soo. In a hilarious preview for SBS’s variety show Whenever Possible, actor Shin Seung Ho confessed that he muted the former Running Man star’s nonstop messages — and he still couldn’t escape them.

The preview clip, released on October 20, features MCs Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok alongside guests Shin Seung Ho and Chae Soo Bin — and the conversation quickly turned to Lee Kwang Soo’s legendary messaging habits.
Alerts that wouldn’t stop
Shin Seung Ho shared that he had logged into his fan communication platform to talk with his own fans, only to be bombarded by Lee Kwang Soo. “I logged in to communicate with my fans, but Lee Kwang Soo hyung’s alerts kept popping up,” he said, drawing laughter from the studio.
It gets better: even after checking “Do Not Show for a Week” and “Do Not Show Again,” the alerts kept coming. Shin Seung Ho essentially tried to silence notifications on the very app he uses to connect with his supporters — all because Lee Kwang Soo wouldn’t stop chatting.
Kwang Soo’s budget-friendly fan platform
The segment also brought up the price of Lee Kwang Soo’s own fan platform subscription. Yoo Jae Suk noted that while a lunch these days costs around ₩10,000–₩12,000 KRW (about $7.50–$9 USD), Lee Kwang Soo charges only ₩5,000 KRW (about $3.77 USD) for his subscription — making him one of the most affordable celebrity subscriptions out there.
Whether he’s over-messaging his friends or undercharging his fans, Lee Kwang Soo remains as endearingly chaotic as ever. Nobody who watched Running Man is surprised.
