Amazing Red isn’t done yet — not by a long shot. Just 10 days after walking into Bound For Glory as a Hall of Famer and walking out with the X-Division Championship, the high-flying veteran has reportedly signed with TNA Wrestling for another run, according to PWInsider.

From Hall of Fame Speech to Championship Gold
What happened at Bound For Glory was supposed to be a nostalgia appearance. Red arrived to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame — and then stunned everyone during his acceptance speech by announcing he was entering the vacant X-Division Championship match later that night.
He wasn’t kidding. Red hit KC Navarro with the Code Red, got the three-count, and became X-Division Champion for the fourth time in his career. His surprise entry turned a planned six-man match into a seven-man scramble — and he walked out with the gold. The title had been left vacant after Leon Slater exercised Option C to challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship.
A 16-Year Gap Between Reigns
The numbers here are staggering. Before Bound For Glory, Red hadn’t held the X-Division Championship since September 25, 2010 — more than 16 years between reigns. Now 44, Red has been part of the wrestling scene since the independent boom of the early 2000s, including the early days of Ring of Honor, plus an NWA Tag Team Championship run with Jerry Lynn.
Outside TNA, he stays busy running House of Glory Wrestling in New York City alongside Brian XL. Per PWInsider, the deal is done even though TNA hasn’t officially announced it yet — Red has committed to the promotion. So much for a one-night nostalgia deal: the Amazing Red comeback tour is just getting started.
