“I’m so excited; there’s just no other way to put it,” Crowley said. “I get to wrestle in Arena México — that’s awesome.” The iconic venue is the cathedral of lucha libre, and Crowley will represent Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling in the tournament.

How the Opportunity Came About

Crowley revealed she filled the spot after Taylor Rising departed Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. The call came from “Scott,” who asked if she was available for certain dates without saying what for. “I just said yes — ‘Yeah, of course I’m available,’ expecting it to be something for Maple Leaf, which technically it is, but I didn’t realize it was gonna be something this big,” she said. “When he actually gave me that call and was like, ‘It’s CMLL; you’re gonna be going to Mexico’ — it was just mind-blowing.”

She credited Scott for making the deal happen: “It’s a lot of hard work, and I’m just thankful that I’m the one who gets to represent Maple Leaf in this tournament. It’s very, very, very big.” The 2026 CMLL Women’s Grand Prix shapes up as one of the year’s biggest women’s wrestling showcases — and Crowley intends to make the most of it.
