CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS 2 just dropped two official music albums days after its October 20 Netflix debut — an original score from Tsuneo Imahori and a separate soundtrack featuring songs created for the anime by Rico Nasty, Corbin, DOUDOU, BIJI and more.

The first album, CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS 2 (Original Series Score), packs 39 tracks composed by Imahori — the composer tasked with scoring the 10-episode follow-up to Studio TRIGGER’s 2022 breakout hit. Score albums like this carry the quiet weight of the series: the ambience of Night City after dark, the slow builds before a chrome-heavy firefight, the fragile themes that sit underneath David-and-Lucy-sized heartbreak.
The second album, CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS 2 (Original Series Soundtrack), gathers eight original songs written specifically for the show. The lineup includes “You Can’t Run From Me” by Rico Nasty, “A Rusty Dream” by DOUDOU, “Worth It” by Corbin, “Boya” by BIJI, plus tracks from Petite Meller, Piernikowski, and a collaboration between Kalman Chodakiewitz and Eli Shiffman on “In Love With Myself.”
A New Redemption-and-Revenge Story From Studio TRIGGER
The anime itself is a brand-new 10-episode story from the world of Cyberpunk 2077, pitched earlier as “a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge.” Kai Ikarashi — who directed Episode 6 of the original series, “Girl on Fire” — takes the director’s chair, with character designs by Ichigo Kanno and a screenplay from Masahiko Otsuka. Bartosz Sztybor returns as showrunner, story writer and producer.
