ZEROBASEONE EMP RUN Release Date and Teaser
A teaser for the upcoming single was revealed on October 24, confirming the project after the unit’s well-received debut project. EMP released their first mixtape, “EMP Mixtape Vol.1: We the Extra,” just last month in September, and fans did not have to wait long for a follow-up.
Team-up singles between idol units and established hip-hop acts tend to generate serious buzz, and pairing EMP’s youthful energy with Dynamicduo’s veteran production credentials has fans expecting something special.
Who Are ZEROBASEONE EMP?
EMP is a two-member unit consisting of Seok Matthew and Park Gunwook from ZEROBASEONE, the project group formed through Mnet’s survival show Boys Planet. Units like EMP let members explore a different musical color from the full group’s sound, and the September mixtape showed the pair leaning into a confident hip-hop-influenced style.
With “RUN” landing on November 4, EMP is quickly building a discography of its own. Stay tuned for concept photos and further teasers ahead of the release.
