WWE is loading up the October 30 SmackDown with two championship matches — and both could throw WWE’s Crown Jewel plans into chaos. Sami Zayn defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Trick Williams, while Chelsea Green puts the WWE Women’s Championship on the line against Nikki Bella on the Halloween edition of the blue brand.

Both matches were confirmed during the October 23 episode of SmackDown, and the stakes go far beyond next Friday night. This is about survival — because both champions already have massive title matches waiting for them at Crown Jewel, and a loss on October 30 would blow those plans apart.
October 30 SmackDown Title Matches Put Crown Jewel Plans at Risk
Start with Zayn. He is already scheduled to face Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel on November 7 in a champion-versus-champion showdown. That means Zayn has to get past the dangerous Trick Williams first — and Williams has made it clear he believes the spotlight belongs to him. If Williams pulls off the upset, WWE’s marquee Crown Jewel main event picture gets rewritten overnight.
Green is in a similar spot. She just successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez on this week’s SmackDown, and now Nikki Bella gets her shot next Friday. Waiting beyond that is a scheduled Crown Jewel clash with Liv Morgan. Bella is a Hall of Famer with big-match pedigree — exactly the kind of challenger who can ruin a champion’s best-laid plans.
Danhausen’s Halloween SmackDown: Time, Channel, and Lineup
All of this unfolds on a special Halloween-themed presentation officially titled “Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown,” with Danhausen hosting the festivities. The show airs Friday, October 30, at 8 PM ET on USA Network, emanating from Charleston, West Virginia — one night before Halloween.
The confirmed lineup so far:
Undisputed WWE Championship: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Trick Williams
WWE Women’s Championship: Chelsea Green (c) vs. Nikki Bella
The big question hanging over the night: do Zayn and Green walk into Crown Jewel with their championships intact, or does the Halloween episode deliver two shocking title changes? Either way, the road to November 7 just got a lot more interesting.
