Zack Sabre Jr. On Greatest Technical Wrestler Debate
Sabre Jr. admitted that becoming the greatest technical wrestler of all time is exactly what drives him every match. But he called it self-indulgent to claim the title now, saying that ambition is the driving force behind everything he does in the ring.
The question came ahead of a huge match for Sabre Jr. CMLL and New Japan Pro-Wrestling are coming together to present Lucha Kingdom at Arena Mexico on November 16, where one of the marquee bouts sees Zack Sabre Jr. challenging Hechicero for the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship.
Sabre Jr. Stays Busy Ahead of Lucha Kingdom
Sabre Jr. was recently in action at Taichi/NJPW’s event at Taichi’s old middle school, where Dangerous Tekkers reunited and scored a win over Naomichi Marufuji and Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
With a CMLL World Heavyweight Championship shot on the horizon and two decades of ambition still ahead of him, Sabre Jr.’s quest for technical wrestling greatness is far from over.
