Rising actor Cha Woo Min left the cast of I Live Alone stunned with his physique on the show’s October 23 broadcast, after revealing he bulked up from around 70 kg to 83 kg in just six months. The 185 cm tall actor, born in 2000, showed off a daily routine built around intense training, pet care and housework in his Mangwon-dong apartment.

The moment came when Cha Woo Min appeared in the studio, prompting host Jun Hyun Moo to praise his look and ask how he had always been so fit. Fellow cast member Kian84 could not hide his surprise either, jokingly calling him a lucky guy after hearing his height and age.
Cha Woo Min’s 13 kg Bulk in Six Months
Cha Woo Min explained that he used to maintain a weight of around 70 kg, but deliberately bulked up into the 80 kg range for his current work. He is now 83 kg, a gain of about 13 kg in six months, achieved through daily strength training.
That kind of transformation is not accidental. Cha Woo Min said he works out every day, and even wants to exercise on his rest days, a level of discipline that clearly impressed the studio panel.
An Hour of Shoulders, Then the Stairway to Heaven
The footage from his day showed just how serious that routine is. After looking after his pets in the morning and cleaning his house, Cha Woo Min headed to the gym, where he spent a full hour on shoulder workouts alone, adding weights to his equipment to increase the intensity.
He then moved on to cardio, climbing the machine known as the Stairway to Heaven for about 25 minutes, increasing the level from 7 to 10. He also admitted a surprising concern: he no longer gets muscle soreness, which left him wondering whether he was training hard enough.
For viewers, the segment was less about a single impressive moment and more about the consistency behind it. Cha Woo Min’s physique did not come from one gym session, but from a daily habit he clearly enjoys, and the I Live Alone cast’s reaction suggests it is a transformation people will be talking about for a while.
