Ethan Page found himself in the middle of an awkward public confrontation on October 25, when wrestling influencer Heel Girlfriend confronted the WWE star in front of a crowd — and Page chose to walk away rather than argue.

Ethan Page walks away after fan confrontation
The exchange began when Heel Girlfriend questioned why Page was even there, telling him: “I don’t care about Ethan Page. What are you even doing here?” Page immediately pushed back, explaining that he had been asked to make content with them — and that he had expected a far friendlier interaction.
“I’ll be honest with you. You asked me to do content. I thought you were gonna compliment me and not have your girlfriend scream at my face in front of a bunch of people trying to enjoy the pay-per-view,” Page replied.
Clearly uninterested in a prolonged argument, Page called the situation embarrassing and made his exit: “I am thoroughly embarrassed right now. I’m outta here, pal.”
The irony after Page’s September comments on wrestler-fan drama
The timing is notable given Page’s own recent comments on exactly this kind of drama. During a September appearance on Inside the Ring, he argued that wrestlers today are “a lot softer” because of how easily some get dragged into arguments with people online, questioning why wrestlers respond to critics instead of the fans complimenting them.
“What are you responding to fans for? What the hell? Why don’t you respond to the ones that compliment you?” he said at the time. This time, though, Page could not simply ignore a post on his phone — the confrontation was happening face to face. True to his own advice, he still refused to be drawn into a sustained argument, choosing instead to call it embarrassing and walk away.
