Two Tuesday-night Korean dramas are riding a ratings high at the same time. tvN’s “Love in Disguise” and ENA’s “Between Steps” both climbed to their best viewership numbers yet, giving fans of both shows plenty to celebrate.

Love in Disguise Ratings Hit 6.0 Percent
According to Nielsen Korea, the romance thriller’s fourth episode rose to an average nationwide rating of 6.0 percent, its highest mark so far. That number also made it the most-watched cable program of any kind to air on Tuesday, a strong result for a show still early in its run.
The drama stars Yim Si Wan and Seol In Ah, and its mix of romance and suspense appears to be pulling in a growing audience week after week. A climb like this in episode four usually signals that word of mouth is doing its job, with new viewers catching up and joining the live audience.
Between Steps Sets Its Own Personal Record
Over on ENA, “Between Steps” had its own reason to celebrate. The drama’s latest episode climbed to an average nationwide rating of 2.7 percent, also a new personal best for the series.
Led by Kim So Hyun, the show has been building steadily, and a fresh ratings record shows that its audience is growing rather than drifting away. For a cable drama in a crowded Tuesday slot, that kind of upward trend is exactly what a production wants to see.
Two Dramas, One Big Night for K-Drama Fans
It is not every week that two competing dramas both post series highs on the same night. With “Love in Disguise” leading the cable pack and “Between Steps” setting its own record, Tuesday nights are shaping up to be a must-watch battleground for K-drama fans.
