Max Caster has given a heartfelt shout-out to AEW President Tony Khan, saying Khan is financially supporting a lot of wrestlers right now — himself included. Speaking during a virtual signing, Caster admitted he is still living off the money he earned during his five years with All Elite Wrestling.

Max Caster Thanks Tony Khan: “I’m Still Living Off AEW Money”
“I always gotta shout out Tony Khan, because he’s supporting a lot of wrestlers’ living right now… including me. I’m still living off AEW money,” Caster said during the signing for K & S WrestleFest. “That’s a guy who, for whatever reason in his heart, is supporting wrestling and supporting wrestlers.”
The comment is striking for its honesty. Wrestlers rarely talk openly about how long a contract’s earnings can carry them after a run ends, and Caster framed Khan’s spending not as a business calculation but as genuine support for the people in the industry.
Max Caster’s AEW Run and Decision to Step Away
Caster spent the last five years of his pro wrestling career under contract with AEW. During that time, he won the AEW World Tag Team Titles with Anthony Bowens as part of The Acclaimed, and also won the World Trios Titles with Bowens and Billy Gunn.
His time in the spotlight made him one of AEW’s most recognisable acts, thanks in large part to his rap entrances and mic work. But Caster has since decided to step away from pro wrestling following his situation at TNA Bound For Glory, bringing a sudden end to a run that had defined his career.
For now, his message to Khan doubles as a snapshot of wrestling’s economics: a good contract can sustain a wrestler well beyond their final match, and Caster is grateful for the man who provided his.
