Make Me Tingle episodes 5 and 6 pushed Gong Yeon Su (Nam Ji Hyun) and Dokgo Dal (Kim Jae Yeong) closer together — even as the pair kept insisting they could never work as a couple. After Yeon Su’s defiant move of taking Dal home to her grandparents, the two spent the week bridging the gap between their very different views on love, work and intimacy.

The setup is deliciously complicated. The Gongs were shocked to learn that Dal manufactures wellness products and holds liberal views on marriage and relationships, while Yeon Su is left dealing with the tingling feeling that overcomes her whenever she is around him. In an uncharacteristic moment, she asks Dal to date her — only to be turned down, since he does not date coworkers. Either they end the contract or have a fling, he argues, because dating is an entirely different ball game for him.
Make Me Tingle Episodes 5-6: The Busan Pop-Up Breakthrough
The first bridge between them comes at work. Dal and Yeon Su clash over marketing as much as over romance: he knows she has never used any of Loand’s products, yet she is tasked with selling them. Though initially apprehensive about her idea of random mystery boxes, he goes along with it — and as online sales soar across demographics and genders, she suggests a pop-up store in Busan as their next move. Dal agrees, keen to expand the customer base and make the products widely accessible.
At the pop-up, Dal challenges her directly: how can she sell something she has never tried? She throws the question back, asking whether he has tried the products aimed at female customers. He answers that he helped design them and therefore knows them better — but Yeon Su sees a contradiction, arguing he claims to understand women while staying detached from the emotional side of intimacy. The argument turns when Yeon Su finds herself at a loss for words with customers, admitting to one young woman that she has never used the products. Watching Dal put visitors at ease, especially married couples, she begins to see his cynicism as a shield for someone who genuinely cares about breaking down stigmas and making wellness more approachable.
Jealousy, Ji Oh and Feelings They Can’t Deny
The second bridge is far less comfortable for Dal. Despite rejecting Yeon Su’s proposal to date, he is consumed by jealousy when his best friend and Loand co-partner Yoon Ji Oh (Kang Tae Ju) makes his interest in her apparent — even asking her out right in front of Dal. Recently single and stung by Dal’s rejection, Yeon Su agrees, forcing Dal to confront feelings he has been denying.
By the end of the two episodes, the pair have found real common ground: she respects his understanding of the products and the people who use them, while he gives her marketing instincts room to work. Their approaches still differ, but they are finally recognising the value in each other’s perspectives — and that, more than anything, is where the tingling starts to make sense.
