Thekla believes the Triangle of Madness has changed what women’s wrestling in AEW can look like. Since Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue joined forces in July 2025, the trio has steadily raised its profile, with Thekla herself emerging as the group’s breakout star after capturing the AEW Women’s World Championship earlier this year.

Speaking to Playboy in a new interview, Thekla was asked whether her faction has given other women wrestlers permission to be edgier and more violent in the ring. Her answer was an emphatic yes, arguing that women have long had to compensate in the ring and that the answer is to go further, not play it safe.
Thekla Triangle of Madness Edge Explained
“We just have to get a little bit more insane,” Thekla said, pointing to the trio’s distinct brands of chaos: a blood-covered Skye Blue, Julia Hart’s mist attacks, and her own use of a belt to punish even the referee.
The comments capture what has made the Triangle of Madness stand out. Rather than fitting a single mold, each member brings her own flavor of mayhem, and together they have built an identity that feels genuinely dangerous in a division full of polished babyfaces and heels.
Why the Faction Keeps Rising in AEW
Thekla’s championship run has only amplified the group’s presence, and the faction continues to feature prominently on AEW programming, including the build to Fright Night Dynamite. If Thekla’s philosophy holds, the women’s division is only going to get wilder from here.
