NXT November 4 Goes Head-to-Head With AEW Blood & Guts
The November 4 edition of NXT will go head-to-head with AEW Blood & Guts, which takes place at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The Wednesday night clash sets up another direct ratings battle between WWE’s developmental brand and AEW’s special event.
The move to Wednesday for this one-off live episode is a notable scheduling shift for NXT, which normally airs on Tuesdays on The CW, and it signals WWE’s intent to go all-in on the head-to-head night.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final and Cody Rhodes Appearance
The November 4 show will feature the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. Cody Rhodes will be on hand to present the trophy to the winning team, a fitting touch given the tournament honors his late father, Dusty Rhodes.
The semifinal picture was taking shape on the October 27 episode, with teams battling for a place in the final. Whoever emerges will not only claim the Classic trophy but do so in front of Cody himself on a night when plenty of wrestling fans will be choosing between two shows.
With a trophy presentation, a tournament final, and a head-to-head war with AEW, the November 4 NXT is shaping up to be one of the brand’s biggest nights of the year.
