Lil Yachty might be done with music. The two-time Grammy-nominated artist and producer told Complex he wants to go full-time with WWE — and if the pieces fall into place, he’ll “never release another album” again.

Lil Yachty on Going Full-Time With WWE
Yachty — who serves as manager and ally to United States Champion Trick Williams — explained that WWE’s discipline is exactly what hooked him. “There’s no correlation” between WWE and music performances, he said, because “WWE is more militant.”
“This is my show. I call the shots, I make the rules, I do what I want,” he said of music. “WWE, it’s time, it’s cameras… producers. It’s so different. It’s like militant, and you gotta be on your sh*t.” Yachty added that wrestlers have no leeway: “You got X amount of time and you gotta make everything count and you gotta captivate that audience… If you f*ck up or you do some bullsh*t, you might not be on TV that next week. It’s a lot more militant and disciplined, and I love it, man. I’d like to go full-time; I’m trying to go full-time.”
Done With Music if WWE Pays Right
Then came the money quote: “If I climb the ranks in WWE and get the checks that I want, this music sh*t can kiss me goodbye. I swear to God. I will be back flipping, getting thrown through tables and whatever else until my body give out on me.”
Yachty hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since he was attacked by Baron Corbin on the September 11 Friday Night SmackDown, and he made his in-ring debut against Corbin at Sunday Night’s Main Event. If he’s serious about full-time, bumps through tables may be in his very near future.
