The Last Cowboy Season 7 Release Date and Where to Watch
New episodes will be available the next day on CMT VOD, while fans can catch up on the first six seasons streaming now on Paramount+. The seven-season run cements the show as one of Sheridan’s longest-running ventures beyond the Yellowstone universe.
What The Last Cowboy Follows
“The Last Cowboy” takes viewers inside the elite world of Western equine sports — reining, cutting and cow horse competitions where horse and rider move as one. The series follows the top riders as they prepare for Sheridan’s own “Run for a Million” competition, dubbed the biggest and most prestigious event in Western equine sports.
For Sheridan — whose Yellowstone franchise turned modern ranch life into appointment television — the series doubles as both a documentary and a love letter to the real working-cowboy culture his scripted shows romanticize.
