Baekhyun’s B.ON Entertainment: New Agency Details
Media outlet Biz Hankook reported on October 30 that Baekhyun had established the new agency, with himself listed as CEO. The official English spelling of the company name has yet to be confirmed. The company reportedly relocated its registered headquarters on October 22 as it began preparing office space.
The report adds that B.ON Entertainment was founded on September 18 — just three days after the court granted CBX’s request for a preliminary injunction suspending the validity of their exclusive contracts with INB100. The company initially registered Baekhyun’s residence as its headquarters before relocating about a month later. An individual who previously handled management duties at CBX’s former agency has also reportedly joined the new company.
CBX Future Activities Through the New Company
In response to the report, a representative of B.ON Entertainment confirmed that while no specific contracts have been signed yet, it is true that CBX will be working together through the company. They explained the trio needed a corporate structure because they cannot receive payments for small-scale events and other activities into their personal bank accounts, and there are tax considerations to handle.
As for when fans can expect to see CBX active through B.ON Entertainment, the representative said concrete plans will likely begin sometime after March next year. For now, the new company signals the trio is preparing an independent base for their future activities.
