Kelani Jordan may sit atop NXT as the Women’s Champion, but she still looks up to one of WWE’s biggest stars. Speaking to Kron 4 in a new interview, Jordan named Bianca Belair as a major inspiration — and revealed she still admires her to this day.

“I love Bianca. I looked up — I still look up to her,” Jordan said. “Becky Lynch, I loved, and also RVD, Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels, a lot of inspirations, Eddie Guerrero.”
Jordan’s path to wrestling was anything but conventional. A former gymnast, she admits she didn’t even know becoming a wrestler was possible: “I never… I didn’t know how to become a wrestler, so I didn’t even think I could do it. When I grew up, when I was like, ‘oh, when I grow up,’ I wanted to be an Olympic gymnast. That was like my goal.”
A WrestleMania Main Event in Her Future?
The admiration is clearly mutual across the NXT landscape. Elsewhere in a recent interview, NXT general manager Robert Stone spoke about Kelani’s potential to one day main event WrestleMania — high praise for a champion whose rise from collegiate gymnastics to the top of the NXT women’s division has been remarkably fast.
With inspirations like Belair, Lynch and Guerrero in her corner — and the Performance Center behind her — Jordan’s ceiling looks as high as anyone’s in the division.
