What Is in the Ryobi 18V Storm Preparation Kit
The kit is a 5-piece combo: a compact 18V LED Area Lantern, a 4-inch Clamp Fan, an 18V Power Source with two USB ports that turns the included 2Ah battery into a power bank, plus a compact battery charger. The lantern delivers 400 lumens for around 40 hours (longer with a bigger 4Ah battery), while the Clamp Fan pushes 180 CFM of airflow for 13+ hours. The Power Source runs on any 18V ONE+ battery you already own and charges two USB devices at once — phones, tablets, lights and more.
Why It Is Worth Having Before the Next Outage
Ryobi offers over 350 products on its 18V ONE+ battery system, and this kit is another way to get more out of the batteries you already own. It is currently listed as “coming soon” and is expected to be far more affordable than a similar package Ryobi sold a few years ago. Beyond emergencies, it doubles as a camping bundle: lights for the campsite and tent, a fan for warm nights and a way to charge your phone by the firepit.
