Chelsea vs Charlton: Four Goals in 19 Minutes

Nathalie Bjorn headed Chelsea in front after just three minutes, rising highest to meet Katie McCabe’s corner. Melvine Malard doubled the lead with a close-range finish in the 10th minute, and Ellie Carpenter made it three with a tidy strike in the 13th minute.

Malard grabbed her second in the 19th minute, slotting home from close range, and thought she had completed a hat-trick 12 minutes later — only for the goal to be ruled out for a tight offside in a rare reprieve for Charlton.

Beever-Jones and Dragoni Seal 6-0 Rout, James Forced Off

After the break, substitute Aggie Beever-Jones latched onto a clever flick from Keira Walsh to score in the 57th minute — her first goal since September 2025. The rout was completed in the 66th minute when Giulia Dragoni fired home her first Chelsea goal after being teed up by fellow substitute Alyssa Thompson.

The one concern for Sonia Bompastor’s side was Lauren James, who was forced off through injury in the 35th minute and replaced by Erin Cuthbert.
