Je’Von Evans revealed the thinking behind his instantly recognizable WWE entrance, saying he specifically wanted a theme that would “get the crowd in a good mood” from the moment his music hits.

Speaking to KSGO Radio in a recent interview, the WWE breakout star explained that the vibe of his ‘Who Want It’ entrance — performed by J Frost and Def Rebel — was a deliberate choice dating back to his arrival in NXT after signing with WWE in late 2023.

Je’Von Evans Wanted a Bouncy Theme From Day One

Evans, who has been a fan favorite since jumping from NXT to the main roster at the beginning of this year, said the beat and lyrics won him over instantly: “I think when I came into NXT, or came into WWE in general, I wanted something that would kind of just get the crowd in a good mood, you know what I mean? So once I heard the beat of this and the lyrics, I was like, okay, I feel like this will get the crowd, you know, jumping a little bouncy, you know what I mean?” The choice fits his brash, high-energy persona perfectly.

Evans’ Star Keeps Rising Ahead of Crown Jewel

The theme discussion caps a big week for Evans, who is set to challenge for the WWE World Tag Team Championships alongside Penta against Bron Breakker and Austin Theory at Crown Jewel next weekend. He also made headlines for crashing through an ambulance roof at WWE Money In The Bank earlier this year. From a bouncy entrance to potential championship gold, Evans’ rise shows no signs of slowing down.
