WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash isn’t buying the idea that the November 2026 midterm elections will magically fix what’s wrong with America — comparing the country to a car with half its engine already blown apart.
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Nash weighed in on the midterms, which will decide all 435 House seats and roughly one-third of the Senate, potentially shifting control of either chamber of Congress.

Kevin Nash’s Busted-Car Analogy for the Midterms
Nash argued the country’s problems run too deep for one election cycle to repair: “But to me, the midterms are like we’ve thrown two rods, a piston’s gone, the drivetrain’s f****** up, and we’re hoping that at the midterms we get an oil change.” He made it clear he wasn’t pinning everything on one party either, accusing Democrats of being “just as f***** guilty, if not more so in some cases” and pointing to gerrymandering in Virginia as evidence of a tit-for-tat revenge cycle that keeps dividing the country.
Nash Backs the President Despite Concerns
Despite his frustration, Nash said he ultimately supports the president on matters of military leadership: “I back my president because I have to. I have to back my president because he’s in charge of the military.” He also voiced concern about generals being let go and admitted that global affairs feel more unsettling to him now than past conflicts: “I’ve just been around a long f****** time, man. I’ve just never seen things this f****** up. Like Vietnam, man. Vietnam wasn’t in our backyard.”
