BLACKPINK’s Jennie is facing yet another round of editing accusations after her Halloween Instagram post — and once again, fans are refusing to let the claims stand.

Jennie dressed as Suki from 2 Fast 2 Furious for Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party, sharing a set of party photos on Instagram. After the post circulated online, some viral posts placed her Instagram shots side by side with photos from other outlets at the event, claiming the comparison proved she had edited her visuals — her waist and height in particular.
Jennie Instagram edit accusations slammed as manufactured
Netizens quickly hit back. According to their rebuttal, the “event photos” being used in the comparison were themselves doctored by the original poster — a deliberate manipulation designed to make it look like Jennie had photoshopped her own pictures. “Not y’all editing her waist and height,” one post fired back, while another called out the playbook of editing her photos first and then comparing them to her Instagram to cry “insecure.”
Others went further, pointing to unedited photos and videos of Jennie from the event as proof of how she really looks — and argued that even if an idol tweaks a photo, it is something everyone does daily.
A familiar pattern for Jennie
This is not the first time Jennie has been accused of editing her visuals — she has faced similar claims before, including a past controversy over a mirror reflection. Each time, her supporters have pushed back against the narrative, and this Halloween round appears to be ending the same way, with the backlash turning against the accusers rather than the idol.
