The legal mess surrounding Hulk Hogan’s widow Sky Daily and her son Hayden Hitt just took another turn, and now the cops are pushing back. Clearwater Police say one of the biggest claims made in the lawsuit simply isn’t true — the investigation was never quietly shut down.

According to TMZ, a Jane Doe suing Daily and Hitt claimed she went to police after Hitt allegedly became violent with her, and alleged that Clearwater Police quickly closed the case because of Daily’s alleged standing within the Church of Scientology.
Clearwater Police: Hulk Hogan Widow Case Referred To Prosecutors, Still Open
Police are now saying that’s not what happened. Clearwater Police says it began investigating back in March and eventually referred the case to the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office for possible prosecution — and the case is still very much alive.
“The case is not closed; media reports indicating that are inaccurate,” the department stated.
Jane Doe claims she had been living with Daily and Hitt and alleges Hitt repeatedly got physical with her, while Daily allegedly convinced her to forgive him each time. She says things boiled over during a March 28 party, when Hitt allegedly shoved her through a doorway and into a clothes rack. She claims she texted Daily about it immediately, then called the cops — and that Daily kicked her out and dumped her belongings outside while Hitt later asked her to delete messages and not pursue charges.
Second Lawsuit Filed Over The Same March 28 Party
A second lawsuit tied to the same March 28 party was filed by a minor identified as Jane B. Doe, who alleges she was sexually assaulted by another minor while incapacitated and claims Hitt guarded the door. Daily and Hitt also face negligence claims connected to the incident.
All of the allegations remain unproven in court. But one thing is now clear: Clearwater Police want it known this investigation didn’t disappear — and they’re insisting it remains open after being referred to prosecutors.
